Le’ Pam’s House of Creole: The Shortest Distance Between Houston and New Orleans

When Houston residents want a taste of New Orleans without leaving home, they travel to Le’ Pam’s House of Creole for some spice. Houston-born chef Pamela Graham draws from her upbringing in New Orleans and training at the Culinary Institute of New Orleans to craft her menu of Creole cuisine. Her menu features Louisiana dishes such as fried catfish, chicken and sausage jambalaya, and cooked-to-order chicken wings. She combines Blue crab, gulf shrimp, Andouille sausage and turkey necks to make her seafood gumbo, and she finishes the meal with peach cobbler or bread pudding with rum sauce.

Open Tuesdays through Sundays beginning at 11 a.m., Le’ Pam’s House of Creole serves lunch and dinner and offers take-out and catering. According to the website, all diners are welcomed with “open arms a warm smile, and a greeting.”
