Located just a stone's throw away from 3800 Main, this Houston park really comes to life June through August. At the heart of Discovery Green, you'll find a picturesque pond and, atop it, canoers and kayakers. When winter rolls around, the city transforms the pond into an ice-skating rink for its sporty residents. You can also explore the breathtaking gardens or go for a run on the walking paths. Bring your youngsters to the playgrounds or let them ogle the colorful art installations scattered throughout the park. You can even get a meal within the boundaries of Discovery Green as it boasts a handful of restaurants.
