The Ramones and James Brown have both played at Fitzgerald's since it debuted back in 1977. They're just two of the well-known names to grace the stage at this dive bar, which doubles as a music venue. In fact, Fitzgerald's has gained so much local fame that it's considered an institution—and it's not far from 3800 Main.

So head here for a show and a drink with friends. Fitzgerald's boasts two bars, one indoors and one outside on the patio. You'll have to head upstairs for music, though. That's where you'll find the stage, which plays host to different performers or bands every week, several nights a week. Check out Fitzgerald's website for upcoming acts—they run the gamut from indie to hip hop bands. People of all ages are welcome for the shows, but only of-age patrons are allowed at the bars.
