If you've been living at 3800 Main for quite some time now and still haven't found that go-to restaurant, give Table 7 Bistro a try. This eatery on Fannin Street in downtown Houston offers a relaxing environment and a menu loaded with regional comfort foods.

Table 7 Bistro, a branch of the District 7 restaurants, is known to offer friendly and quick service. That doesn’t mean you can’t stay awhile, though. If the weather permits, consider having a seat on the street-facing patio and hanging out for a bit. If you'd rather enjoy your meal indoors, sit in the dining room or at the bar.

Once you're settled, check out the menu, which features American fare — a different menu is offered for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Try the burger made with akaushi Texas kobe beef or the naan flatbread pizza with pesto or wild boar. If seafood is what you're after, opt for the popular crabcakes. If you stop by for breakfast, consider ordering an omelet, a Belgian waffle, or a breakfast pizza.
