The food here is solid. You order your choice of meat from the counter, and then you choose your side dishes from a cafeteria-style setup. For meat, you can’t go wrong with the Texas-style sliced brisket. It’s cooked to perfection, with a crisp outer layer and a tender consistency that practically melts in your mouth. Other popular choices include the ribs and the sausage. For sides, opt for the fried okra and the cornbread.
Prices are fair, but service can be a tad slow when the place gets busy.
