A train caboose might seem like an odd feature for a park, but it fits right in at League Park. After all, the community park resides right along the railroad tracks that once conveyed trains from Houston to Galveston, so the car pays homage to the rich history of the area. Climb inside and look around or let your littles ones do the exploring.
Then step back out into the shade of towering oak trees and feed the koi and turtles in the pretty pond or set up a picnic lunch in the gazebo. You can also head to the playground, which is equipped with everything you need to keep youngsters entertained on a sunny afternoon.
