The City Municipal Park is open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. and is pet friendly, making it a great place to get out and walk with man's best friend or solo on the half-mile walking and jogging path. Groups will love the park too. Get some friends together for a pick-up softball or baseball game on one of the three lighted fields in the back. Pack a picnic and enjoy it in the shade of the Universal City Pavilion where you can also play a game of basketball, rain or shine.

If football or volleyball are your sports, there are full-sized areas for those as well, making the city park a great spot for a weekend match. Disc golf is available as well as two playgrounds for the kiddos.

There is a challenging disc golf course that makes a fun way to engage in some friendly competition, or if you want to start up your own game of catch, you’ll find ample space in the park’s many open areas. Kids will enjoy swinging, sliding and climbing on the safe, secure play equipment, while adults will feel good about the many relaxing benches that make it easy to keep an eye on playing children.
