The holidays are well on their way, and we are very excited about our upcoming Holiday decorating contest!! The top two residents with the most festive patio/balcony will recieve money off their rent!! The judging will be held Decemer 20th. We look forward to seeing everyone's decorations. In 1866 Thomas Edison arrived in Louisville where he began working for Western Union. During his time in Louisville he stayed in a cottage in Butchertown. This cottage is now preserved as the Thomas Edison House.

At the museum, you can walk through the rooms and see what it was like to live in the nineteenth century. The museum has on display interesting artifacts that were found in the house. These include cylinder and disc phonographs and an Edison Kinetoscope, the first home motion picture projector. This place is a must for Edison fans and history buffs alike!

Thomas Edison House is open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Headliners Music Hall is a Louisville favorite where you can catch established as well as up and coming music acts in Louisville.
