Before there was Jake’s of Sunnyvale, there was Jake’s of Saratoga, a good ol’ straight-to-the-point pizza shop that served up traditional combinations of cheese, dough, meat, and veggies to all the right specifications. The original was so successful that management decided to proliferate south in Sunnyvale, where Jake’s has served up recipes just as test and experienced success just as large. Try the Gilroy Special (ranch dressing, garlic, chives, onion, pepperoni sausage, mushrooms, tomato, mozzarella, and Monterey Jack cheeses) for a one-of-a-kind Jake’s dish. Or if you’re not in the pizza mood, the restaurant makes a delicious, crispy BLT, and a variety of mouth-watering burgers.
