Pack a Picnic and Head to Jack Fischer Park
February 12, 2015 | sack
Named after the principal of the elementary school that used to occupy the grounds here, Jack Fischer Park in Campbell is a popular park geared towards families with younger children.
Small, enclosed, and well-maintained, the park features two play areas with swings, slides, and climbing equipment, a water play area, a large grassy hill, and plenty of shaded and open grassy areas in which to sit back, relax, and watch. The water area features sand pits for the kids to dig with their pail and shovel and build a sand castle or two. Make sure to bring towels and sunscreen!
Plan on bringing a nice picnic lunch, too, as the park has a few picnic tables. Visit the Jack Fischer Park page on the Campbell, California website to learn more about this local park!
