For more than 15 years, the proprietors of Rabbit’s Foot Meadery have been perfecting their award-winning cysers, meads, and braggots. These historic alcoholic drinks contain much more sugar than regular beer, wine, or cider, and they’ve all won awards, the owners claim. Sample the products in the tasting room or purchase them at select local retailers.
Popular drinks at Rabbit’s Foot Meadery include the Death by Raspberry, the Chocolate Raspberry Love, the peach cider, the raspberry mead, and the Biere de Miel. The reasonably priced flights here allow you to taste several of the meadery’s creations. Grab a growler of your favorite and bring it back for refills.
Though the tasting room is cozy and a bit off the beaten path, the friendly, talkative staff here strives to create a welcoming atmosphere with their jokes, stories, and company. If you’re interested in learning to brew your own mead, shoot an email to the proprietors and ask for tips!
