American Wagyu Kobe Beef Stars in Every Bowl at the New Kobe Pho and Grill

You've probably already heard of pho. This meaty noodle soup made its way from Vietnam to the U.S. a few years ago, and it blew up. At Kobe Pho and Grill in Cupertino, pho takes center stage. The eatery only opened in June, less than two miles from Brookside Park, but it's already teaching locals what it means to make good pho.

The process begins with the very best beef available: American Wagyu Kobe beef. This class of tender meat is the cream of the crop when it comes to beef, and it stars in each bowl of classic pho at aptly named Kobe. You can also order super-rare Kobe steak on the side (it's practically bloody) or skip the meat all together and go for a vegetarian Buddha bowl. Either way, those who've visited Kobe Pho say you'll enjoy a generous portion. You can also stop in for a to-go cup of iced Vietnamese coffee on a particularly hot day.
