Rumble Fish: Japanese Fare Comes to Mountain View

November 25, 2015 | sack

Although it's a bit of a splurge, the Feast at Rumble Fish is well worth the money, according to customers. Since this eatery opened a few weeks ago about two miles from Brookside Park, glowing Yelp reviews have already started rolling in, and some of them point to the Feast as the best option. It's a smorgasbord of the chef's choice of sashimi and sushi, mussels and soft shell crab, specialty rolls, and whatever else he decides to add.

You can also order nigiri and maki a la carte. The maki rolls come in a variety of inventive combinations. Try the Red Dragon for some heat; it contains tempura shrimp and spicy tuna inside, and tuna and avocado outside. Or opt for the Rock Star, a deep-fried California roll with spicy tuna, crab, scallop, and tobiko on the outside. You can also dig into a fully cooked entree such as the chicken teriyaki or shrimp and veggie tempura if you're not a big fan of sushi.
