Housed in the offices of a tech company, but open to the public, Union 82 is a terrific new spot that may make you jealous you don’t work in the tech field! Less than two miles from Brookside Park, Union 82 has a fun, causal vibe with a bit of a nerdy side. For example, there are secret messages written in code on the ceilings!

The food is delectable and definitely a step above what you typically find in a corporate dining hall. Favorite dishes include the mezze plate of hummus, grilled haloumi cheese, marinated olives, roasted vegetables, and grilled pita, and the fig, brie and prosciutto flatbread. Though many people in the area visit Union 82 for lunch, the large but warm interior has enough space that it rarely gets crowded. Starting at 4 p.m., Union 82 hosts happy hour with craft beers and trivia, making it a great after-work spot too.
