The Grill Story: A Promising New Korean Barbecue Spot
January 11, 2016 | sack
Reopened in early December under new management, The Grill Story is a Korean barbecue spot that offers delicious food in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Billed as a “barbecue café,” The Grill Story is on the smaller side, but it still packs tons of complex Korean flavors into each of its meals.
Stick with one variety or try a combination meal of the brisket, pork belly, short rib, or steak. You’ll actually cook it yourself on a tabletop grill. Tofu stews, bibimbap rice bowls, and shabu-shabu broth bowls round out the dinner menu at The Grill Story. For lunch, there are lunch boxes with a main course, pot sticker, rice, salad, and miso soup for only $10 apiece.
Though only freshly reopened, the service here is well-organized, friendly, and fast. That service, combined with the fresh food, makes The Grill Story a popular casual dining spot less than two miles away from Brookside Park.
