La Boheme is a charming, causal French bistro with fresh food and attentive service, bringing a genuinely Parisian experience to Mountain View. Having opened in November about 15 minutes away from Brookside Park, La Boheme is one of a few French restaurants on the same block, but it already stands out from the crowd due to its top-notch cuisine.
Crepes, tartines, salads and soups are on the menu for lunch. French staples like mussels in a garlic white wine sauce and duck leg confit taste as great as they look. But save room, because you can’t miss the desserts here – the soufflé au Grand Marnier is a favorite choice, but there are a bunch of other scrumptious options, too. The staff excels at customer service, and a good number of them are actually French, so you know they can offer well-informed recommendations.
