The chefs at Greek Spot believe that crafting fresh food isn't a vocation, but rather an art form. That's why they refer to what they do as mastering "the art of Greek food," particularly Greek street food such as souvlaki and gyros. So even though the restaurant just opened two months ago, about a mile and a half from Brookside Park, it's well worth checking out.

Using family recipes handed down by the founders' Greek grandparents and parents, the kitchen team transforms local vegetables and high quality meats into popular eats like the lamb and beef gyros. Warm pitas hug the blend of tender meat, along with red onion, tomato, lettuce, and a healthy drizzle of tzatziki sauce. Fresh fries come on the side. You can also opt for chicken or pork gyros, or try one of the meats served as a souvlaki wrap instead. Falafel, dolmades, and mousaka are just a few of the other Greek favorites also on the menu at Greek Spot.
