The Voya Restaurant: South American Fare With a Michelin Rating

June 15, 2017 | sack

Don't be fooled by the location of The Voya Restaurant. According to the MICHELIN Guide, this eatery far outshines the strip mall where it resides. Once you step through the door, you'll see that the nondescript storefront doesn't do the interior justice. Its modest exterior gives way to a lavish interior complete with chandeliers, blue glass table settings, and a marble bar.

The Voya Restaurant dishes out South American food unlike any other eatery in the area. Regulars highly recommend you start with the guacamole, which comes with house-made yucca, plantain, and taro chips. Then move onto the main course, perhaps the Peruvian-style chicken, the Kobe beef burger, or the vegan paella. Folks also flock here for the weekend brunch, which consists of dishes like frittatas, eggs Benedict, and banana-flecked beignets.
