Celebrate Friday eve with Thursday Night Live, a night of dining, shopping, music and much more. Thursday Night Live closes down Castro Street so that patrons can walk around and enjoy a nice night in downtown Mountain View.

This family-friendly event is a great way to feel connected to your neighbors. Do a little shopping at your favorite neighborhood stores, let the kids run around a little bit, and enjoy some live entertainment. The upcoming live music schedule includes Daze on the Green on July 13th and The Houserockers on July 27th. Regulars comment that one of their favorite activities is the car show, which features unique and vintage cars. If you’re feeling hungry, swing by a neighborhood restaurant such as Agave Mexican Grill, or stop by one of the food stands at the Farmers Market to taste fresh and tasty fruits and snacks.

All events are from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs for live performances.
