Enjoy Craft Cockails and Tapas at Chop and Pub

Chop and Pub is so new that the Mountain View eatery doesn't even have an official website yet, but that isn't keeping customers away. Since the tapas bar debuted four weeks ago, it's been generating buzz and creating fans one diner at a time. That's probably because every item on its menu exudes creativity, from the cocktails to the small plates.
When you first sit down, order one of the inventive libations, like the Raspberry Kiss. It teems with pisco and raspberry, lime juice and agave, and whipped egg white with chocolate bitters. The Monkey Business features Monkey Shoulder Scotch, creme de cacao, creme de banane, Falernum, and bitters. Pick your boozy treat and then turn your attention to the tapas. Patrons say the fried tater tots with garlic and parmesan cheese are an excellent choice, but you can also pair your drink with eats like mushroom-topped toasted, scallop and shrimp ceviche, or a beef sandwich in naan bread. These unique menu items have set the stage for success at this new Mountain View spot.
