Nosh on Brazilian Barbecue Fare at Pampas

Brazilian style barbecue combined with fresh seafood, and a salad and side bar? That’s what you’ll find on offer at Pampas in Palo Alto.
When you arrive, you can take a seat at the well-appointed bar and lounge area to enjoy a caipirinha while you wait for the rest of your party to arrive. Once you’re seated (there’s a smaller dining area downstairs, and a larger room upstairs that can be rented out for private events), you’ll have a choice to make. You can order from the traditional menu, of course, but the most popular way to eat here is to choose the rodizio option, where the wait staff will repeatedly stop by your table with skewers of meat right off the grill. Leg of lamb, stuffed tenderloin, bacon-wrapped chicken, chorizo and slow-roasted pineapple are just some of the options, but the house specialty is the picanha (top sirloin seasoned with coarse salt and olive oil).
