Vive Sol in Mountain View is a Mexican destination for traditional Mexican cuisine with an all-encompassing menu of burritos, enchiladas, tostadas, and more. Lunch and dinner start with a basket of chips and three salsas — a slightly hot, fruity tomatillo, a deeply flavored chile de arbol and vinegar, and a fiery red salsa. Order the Pollo Guajillo, a century-old family recipe consisting of chicken breast in a sour cream sauce lightly spiced with fruity guajillo chiles. Another popular entrée is the Lomo De Puerco, which sandwiches layers of pounded pork tenderloin with rounds of spicy chorizo, a layer of melty manchego cheese, sautéed spinach, and a brown poblano sauce.
