Restaurant ASA Combines Spanish and Italian Cuisines

October 11, 2017 | sack

Restaurant ASA in Los Altos is an American restaurant committed to sustainable, honest food with influences from Spanish and Italian cuisines.

The menu is divided into three parts – primer grado, segundo grado, and tercer grado. Primer grado consists of appetizers, such as roasted leek marrow, which is slowly roasted with English pea puree and crispy fava leaves. Segundo grado includes salads, and the third section has a variety of entrees. Try the house-brined and grilled pork belly served with a peach and apricot mustard, coriander and white wine sauce, and organic sautéed radicchio. Pair your meal with beer, wine, or one of their specialty-crafted cocktails.

The State Street building is unique with a 16 by 10 foot floor to ceiling window that can be rolled up to open onto their dog-friendly patio space. The 2,500 square foot interior includes modern décor, such as skylights, funky hanging light fixtures, and pops of purple.
