It’s just a short drive from work or home in Mountain View to get to fun on the water at the Shoreline Lake Aquatic Center and Café. Have you ever wanted to learn how to sail? Shoreline’s man-made lake is the perfect spot to learn the ins and outs of how to operate a sailing vessel. You’ll be prepared to safely have fun in no time. There are also classes in stand up paddle boarding, windsurfing, and kayaking. You can also stay on land and enjoy the hiking and biking trails, where you’re likely to see a variety of migratory birds.

Open Mondays through Fridays, 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays, 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Shoreline Lake Aquatic Center and Café is also home to grassy areas that are perfect for a picnic. Pick up refreshments at the cafe.
