Sip and Stroll at Mountain View’s Art and Wine Festival This Weekend!
September 10, 2015 | sack
Music, art and wine come together for the annual (and ever-popular) Mountain View Art and Wine Festival. On Sept. 12 and 13, more than 600 artisans and crafters will fill Castro Street between El Camino Real and Evelyn Avenue for a one-of-a-kind shopping experience. Expect to find artists peddling all sorts of wares, includling jewelry, pottery, hand-blown glass, paintings, and fashion.
As the festival name indicates, wine will also be flowing — along with other adult beverages — at the two-day festival. There will also be plenty of street food-style bites available, too, including corn on the cob, paella, smoked turkey legs, sandwiches, french fries, and kettle corn. Live music from an assortment of local bands will round out the festival. Bring the kids, because the festival will also have face painting, carnival rides, and other child-centric activities in the designated kid zone.
The fun is all happening less than two miles from Brookside Park.
