With more than 780 Yelp reviews — the overwhelming majority being five-star reviews — Sunny Bowl is easily the most beloved restaurant in Mountain View. Why? The bi bim bap is said to be spectacular, and you can customize it with whatever meats you want. Diners rave about just about everything offered here, though, from the kimchi pancakes to the miso soup to the ahi tuna bowl, so it's safe to say you can't go wrong with whatever you decide to order.

The prices at Sunny Bowl are reasonable, and the service is friendly and attentive. Be warned, though: During the lunch hour, Sunny Bowl tends to get crowded, most likely due to its proximity to the city's giant tech companies. But that shouldn't stop you from checking it out then — there are plenty of tables and the service is quick. And perhaps best of all, it's just a stone's throw from Brookside Park, so you can swing by here whenever you get a craving for top-notch Korean cuisine.
