Drunken Lobster: Try the Naked Roll!
October 7, 2015 | sack
Even though it only opened two weeks ago, about two miles away from Brookside Park, Drunken Lobster has already made its mark on Mountain View. Lobster, oysters, and other fresh seafood evoke the rocky shores of New England all the way across the country, and locals are happy to indulge in the fantasy that said beaches are a little bit closer.
The Naked Roll serves as Drunken Lobster's signature sammy, a brioche bun stuffed with chunks of fresh lobster plus coleslaw, drawn butter, and fries crafted in-house. You can also opt for the dressed roll, which showcases lobster smothered in the classic mayo dressing. If you're not into lobster, not to worry. This eatery also dishes out oysters and top neck clams, fish and chips and shrimp cocktail, and even seafood-free dishes such as grilled cheese and hot dogs.
