Nom Burger: Local Beef, Organic Produce and Creamy Milkshakes
October 20, 2015 | sack
Nom Burger is a family-owned restaurant, so it only makes sense that the eatery sources its beef from a family ranch. The Five Dot Ranch in the Napa Valley supplies Nom Burger with its signature blend of sustainably raised beef, which the kitchen staff then grinds in-house and transforms into juicy burger patties.
In the short time since Nom Burger opened—just on Oct. 2 two miles away from Brookside Park—locals have already begun talking about the newcomer to the Sunnyvale burger scene. It's not just that chefs here use hormone- and antibiotic-free meat; it's also the fact that chefs bake brioche burger buns from scratch and top patties with organic produce that sets Nom above the rest. Chow down on any of the menu's gourmet burgers and then cap off the meal with a thick, sweet milkshake.
