Founded in 1994, Vegetarian House offers delicious, health conscious meals for vegetarians, vegans, and anyone looking for a healthy and delicious meal. Located in the heart of downtown San Jose, Vegetarian House serves fresh organic produce that is cooked and seasoned to perfection. Many of their products, such as their sauces, noodles, and bean curd, are made in house from scratch from preservative-free ingredients—and you can tell. Star dishes include the Eggplant Tofu (the brown sauce is divine), the Clay Pot Sensation, and the Rainbow—a tricky little mock fish dish that is really made from bean curd, crispy seaweed, veggies, and a sweet & sour sauce. Sound a little, well, fishy? Just give it a try—Vegetarian House's dishes tempt even the most devout meat eaters.
