The impending approach of summer means sneaking out of the office early and enjoying the even-warmer Dallas weather. You can do just that in the upcoming months at the Dallas Arboretum, only about 8 miles from Butler Brothers Building, courtesy of the Cool Thursdays Concert Series.
No matter how the temperatures soar, the musicians on the schedule for this concert series promise Cool Thursdays, thanks to their cool tunes. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs along and get to the Martin Rutchik Concert Stage early (doors open at 6 p.m.) to snag your patch of grass for the show. From Elton John tribute bands to a local up-and-coming party band, many different musicians will grace the stage this season.
