Don’t Pass Up the Scallop Chowder at Santa Rosa Seafood
September 23, 2014 | sack
Home cooks know that when you want fresh fish, you need to go to Santa Rosa Seafood. You might be a little more inland than other towns, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t find terrific seafood.
Santa Rosa Seafood is known for its local products, caught fresh every day from area fishermen and the company’s own boats. Albacore, halibut, cod, sole, and many more Pacific breeds are all right here, and can be bought whole or as filets. This place is known as the spot to get real “sushi grade” fish. You can’t do better than the fresh day boat scallops, and locals really like the smoked fish made right in the kitchen. (Don’t pass up the scallop chowder.)
Santa Rosa Seafood is open Wednesdays through Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Sundays, 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
