Treat Your Tastebuds to the Exotic Coconut Gruel at Wishbone’s Weekend Brunch

Wishbone may specialize in classic American fare, but that doesn't mean its chef is afraid to get creative. That much is obvious at Wishbone's popular weekend brunch, when you'll find everything from sourdough pancakes to coconut gruel on the menu. The former may be a customer favorite, but the latter features the exotic flavors of jasmine and black rice cooked in coconut milk. Paired with coconut flakes, golden raisins, fruit, and a slightly sweet lavender salt, the coconut gruel makes for a brunch unlike any other in Petaluma.

Although brunch seems to be the most popular time to visit Wishbone, at least according to Yelp reviews, it's far from the only time. You can come for breakfast, lunch, or dinner Wednesday through Sunday. Every meal features ingredients fresh from Wishbone's own farm, as well as other local farmers and purveyors.
