Fresh, rustic cuisine is Lococo’s Cucina Rustica’s specialty. Inspired by recipes from a childhood in Italy, proprietor Joe Lococo offers a menu of flavorful Tuscan favorites. A few dishes come highly recommended by Lococo’s awesome staff. Wild boar sausage and wild mushrooms come together in a pasta dish called papardelle con cinghiale, while dessert features the classic canoli, featuring vanilla-lemon cream wrapped in a pistachio crust. Start your meal with thinly sliced filet mignon carpaccio, or steamed clams and sausage with tomatoes and garlic. Seafood dishes include scallops and risotto dressed in truffle sauce, while the hearty New York Strip steak comes smothered in gorgonzola butter. The lunch menu features many tasty paninis, including sausage and peppers, grilled chicken and goat cheese, as well as fontina and prosciutto.
