Shop for Presents That Do Good at the Fair Trade Gift Festival

Those looking to do some good this holiday season can shop fair trade goods at the Fair Trade Gilt Festival at the United Church of Christ in Petaluma. On Saturday, Dec. 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., fair trade vendors will fill the church with everything from jewelry and textiles to Christmas decorations and baskets.
The goods that will be for sale have all been created by makers in underserved countries and areas throughout the world. How’s that for feel-good shopping?
In addition to shopping, this event will allow guests to help raise funds for nonprofits, including groups like Habitat for Humanity and Heifer International. It all unfolds a short distance from Capri Creek. Are you planning on attending?
