You, Your Kids, and Even Your Pet Will Have Fun at Prince Park
May 9, 2016 | sack
As the weather warms up, Petaluma locals are heading outdoors in droves, and Prince Park is a popular destination. This grassy park covers 22 acres of recreation area, with a little something for everyone.
Athletes will appreciate the baseball diamond and the open fields where you can spontaneously start a pick-up game. Dog lovers will enjoy heading over to the reserved dog run area, where you can let your canine friend frolic and run free—and then after you and your pet are both tuckered out from all that exercise, why not head over to the park's snack bar for some refreshments? Families might enjoy spreading out a blanket and spending the afternoon relaxing under the sun with a cooler full of popsicles and a Frisbee. Finally, note that this park is right next door to a golf course, so it can be a good place to have a picnic with the family and friends before or after your tee time.
