Sax’s Joint is an old-school diner in Petaluma serving classic breakfast and lunch dishes in a fun, retro atmosphere. The menu includes standard egg, meat, and potato dishes in addition to more interesting options, such as Tri Tip Benedict, Spicy Bacon Cheddar Waffles, and Fried Spamwich on grilled white bread. Yelpers highly recommend Mee Maw’s Homemade Cinnamon Roll, which is large, fluffy, and drowned in butter and frosting. A lunch favorite is The Joint Grill, a grilled cheese sandwich loaded with bacon, cheddar, and cream cheese.
Sax’s Joint, owned by two sisters and their mother, has that nostalgic greasy spoon vibe with huge portions and a welcoming atmosphere. Enjoy your meal with 1950s black, white, and pink décor while classic rock plays in the background. The diner has classic checkered flooring and tables along with retro music and movie posters adorning the walls.
Sax’s Joint is open daily from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
