It's not unusual to come to Pongo's Kitchen and Tap for dinner and find that a live concert is already in session. The Petaluma restaurant often hosts local performers to provide a lively soundtrack for its diners, typically on Thursday nights and occasionally on the weekend. The live tunes are only part of what makes Pongo's special, however.

Pongo's mix of Asian and American food ensures that there's something for everyone o the menu. If you're interested in the Asian fare, try the pumpkin curry, a popular dish with kabocha squash, coconut milk, and bell pepper and bamboo shoots in a basil-infused red curry sauce. Other international options include Thai noodles, lettuce cups, and rice dishes. If you want to stick with something more familiar, bite into a juicy burger or order the chicken wings with chipotle sauce.
