Thistle Meats is a whole-animal butcher shop in downtown Petaluma. This cozy and comfortable establishment offers a menu of seasonal prepared foods, all of which can be enjoyed at the shop’s large communal tables or taken to go.

The menu features a meat pie, which changes daily but always consists of savory, freshly butchered meats. Two mouthwatering signature sandwiches are also offered. The Jambon Royale is a ham sandwich with housemade ricotta and pickled Jimmy Nardello peppers, and the Roast Beef sandwich is a delectable creation that is topped with gruyere, wild arugula, horseradish, and caramelized onions. The homemade Gazpacho is the perfect compliment to any sandwich, consisting of heirloom tomatoes, herbs, toasted bread, and lardon.

Catering is also offered by Thistle Meats, with both pick up and delivery available.
