Microwaveable Noodles Get a Gourmet Makeover at Kawa Ramen

Ramen is no longer the fuel for college kids' late-night study sessions, which is why ramen eateries have been popping up all across the country. That includes one near you in Petaluma, Kawa Ramen, which made its grand debut just a few weeks ago.
The chef starts making the signature ramen soup by boiling pork and chicken bones with veggies to create a complex broth. Choose your flavor from a list that includes miso, shoyu, tonkatsu, and shio to determine the herbs and spices that will get tossed in. You can also decide if you'd like your soup spicy or not. Then the chef adds pork chashu, salmon, chicken, veggies, or a veggie blend, depending on your preferences. You can request extra toppings, such as seaweed or a soft-boiled egg, before you finally sink a spoon into your bowl of gourmet soup at Kawa Ramen.
