Fresh Sandwiches and Live Music Await at Ray’s Deli and Tavern

When Ray’s Deli and Tavern opened its doors in 1947, it was part eatery, part grocery store, Ray’s joined many fellow establishments using the same business model at the time. However, this local institution has outlived all the others thanks to its delicious sandwiches and community-oriented vibe.
Stop in to grab a sandwich, toss back a beer, and enjoy some live music. Ray’s regularly hosts open mic nights to showcase the talents of local performers. As you tap your toes to the live music, dig into a signature sammy such as the popular Keokuk. It features turkey and bacon, provolone and pepper jack cheese, roasted red peppers and sundried tomatoes, and a handful of other savory and spicy ingredients. The kitchen team also crafts vegetarian sandwiches like the Miranda Special, stuffed with triple-cream brie, dressed mixed greens, and creamy aioli.
