Savor the Farm-to-Table Fare at Central Market

Situated in the historic 1918 Maclay Building in Petaluma’s bustling downtown riverfront district, Central Market is a true “farm-to-table” restaurant: the meats on the charcuterie plate come from the chef’s nearby Muleheart Farm, as do the eggs, vegetables, and other ingredients. The bread is baked fresh every morning, and the wine list is carefully curated to include both local and global options. The house specialty here is the fresh pork, sometimes served as a pork confit over stewed runner beans and buttermilk onion rings, and on another night, maybe as chorizo in housemade pasta.

Large windows and high ceilings let in plenty of light, while wood floors, exposed brick walls, and hanging kitchen utensils add to the natural, farm-to-table theme. The service is more slow and relaxed for a reason — Central Market is a place to savor and enjoy your meal. Visit Central Market on Wednesdays through Sunday for dinner, drinks, and dessert.
