Try Fresh, Creative Fare at Stockhome

Roberth and Andrea Sundell love to visit Sweden, Roberth’s home country. While they’re there, the pair loves to nosh on the new dishes that Stockholm chefs have been cooking up. They’ve compiled their favorites and added their own Californian flair, and they serve up the unique dishes at Stockhome in Petaluma.

If you want to taste-test a variety of the dishes, share several small plates. Pass around dishes like the roasted beets and Icelandic yogurt, the grilled halloumi cheese crafted with sheep’s milk, and the celery-root gratin. You can also skip straight to the list of entrees, which features heavy Middle Eastern influences. Order a kebab plate loaded with beef and fresh tzatziki or crispy falafel and fresh veggies. Try a pita packed with tender chicken or lamb and beef gyro. Enjoy the Swedish meatballs or vegan grilled cabbage. They’re all on the menu at Stockhome, along with many other inventive dishes.
