Cucina Paradiso: Made-From-Scratch Italian Fare in Petaluma

April 14, 2015 | sack

It'd be easy to fill up on the complimentary, fresh-from-the-oven focaccia that precedes every meal at Cucina Paradiso, but you'd be well advised to pace yourself. Regular diners of this Italian fare eatery give high marks to nearly everything on the menu. You can taste the authenticity, they say — and that shouldn't come as too much of a surprise: everything served at Cucina Paradiso, from the pasta to the tiramisu, is made from scratch.

The most raved-about dish at Cucina Paradiso might be the Capellini Al Pomodoro E Basilico. A simple dish of limited ingredients (fresh tomato and basil, garlic, olive oil), it's a delicious example of the aromatic, delicate flavors associated with Italian cuisine. Meat and seafood entrees are held in equally high regard; don't skip the Saltimbocca Di Vitello, sauteed veal presented in wine sauce and studded with prosciutto. Of course, you'll want to conclude your meal with a slice of tiramisu, which is said to be creamy, fluffy, and not too sweet.

Cucina Paradiso serves lunch and dinner daily.
