Safe Halloween Fun is Brewing at the Bill Soberanes Halloween Festival and Trick or Treat!

October 28, 2015 | sack

Not too far from Capri Creek, some Halloween fun is brewing with the annual Bill Soberanes Halloween Festival and Trick or Treating event on Oct. 31.

Those behind the event want to give Petaluma a safe Halloween experience, so expect daytime trick-or-treating at Plaza North Shopping Center, DARE coloring books, face painting with the McDowell Drug Task Force, a visit by McGruff, the Crime Fighting Dog and more.

Participating Plaza North businesses will have balloons in front of their storefronts so candy-seeking children can easily find their way. Kids are asked to wear their Halloween costumes. Adults, you can wear yours, too!

The festival runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Halloween and is completely free for participants. The two-hour festival will be chock-full of treats, but no tricks.

Head out in the name of free, family-friendly and safe Halloween fun!
