Sonoma Portworks has come up with a new way to combat the "Post Holiday Blues" this year: blue cheese. Paired with fine wines, of course. Every Saturday and Sunday until the end of January, Sonoma Portworks will host a cheese and wine tasting just a stone's throw away from Capri Creek.

The best part? The Post Holiday Blues tastings are all completely free. Just show up at the Sonoma Portworks any time in between noon and 5 p.m. on an upcoming weekend, and you can nibble on carefully selected blue cheeses along with the house's own ARIS Petite Sirah Port. While you're there, peruse the offerings on the shelves at Sonoma Portworks. They include, of course, many dessert wines, but you should also check out other items like the popular Almost Vinegar line of dressings.
