Central Market is a farm-to-table restaurant in the heart of downtown Petaluma. Located in the 1918 Maclay building, this charming eatery serves rustic California-Mediterranean cuisine.
The restaurant's philosophy is simple: to combine traditional American recipes with new twists. Everything is made from scratch daily, and most ingredients come from Muleheart Farm, Central Market’s very own dedicated organic farm.
Inside, the restaurant is warm and welcoming. You’ll feel like you’re in your grandmother’s house enjoying a home cooked meal. The menu changes often, but fall favorites from locals include the rustic farm tomato bisque, the glazed local black cod, the seared sea scallops, and the red beet salad. Yelpers recommend indulging in the Chef’s tasting menu where you can try three courses for $48, four courses for $55, or five courses for $65.
Central Market is open Monday to Thursday 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
