The name might be Sake107, but it’s really the sushi that is getting rave reviews from Petaluma residents. This happy hour and dinner spot opens at 3 p.m. most days, and serves truly authentic Japanese food and the highest quality sushi.

Sake107 buys its fish in small quantities, and that makes the menu a bit smaller than some sushi restaurants, but they make up for it in quality. Aptly named Melt in your Mouth and 107 Special are popular sushi choices, or try the chef’s selection of sashimi or nigiri. There are also small plates, tempura, and skewers, which are the perfect choice as an appetizer or for sharing. Stop by at happy hour daily from 3 to 5 p.m. for drinks and a selection of hand rolls for $3 to $6. And although the food at Sake107 is the real star, they do have an impressive selection of sake and other drinks.
