Try the Wild Thing Pizza at Wild Goat Bistro

April 30, 2018 | sack

Artichokes, roasted peppers, Swiss chard, a mix of artisan mushrooms, truffle oil, and fontina cheese all mingle atop the Wild Thing pizza at Wild Goat Bistro. This might not be a combination you'd expect to see atop a pie, but then again, nothing about the menu at Wild Goat Bistro is really the status quo. Its inventive chef uses local ingredients to craft creative dishes like the Wild Thing, much to the delight of eaters.

Before you order a large plate or a pizza, share a few of the tapas like the polenta fries with pesto and roasted red pepper sauce and the brussels sprouts seared with bacon, caramelized onions, Dijon mustard sauce, and parmesan. Then move onto your main, perhaps the organic chicken breast with roasted squash and sauteed baby spinach or the quinoa-sweet potato cakes accompanied by house-made hummus, brussels sprouts slaw, and a vegan cashew sauce infused with roasted red peppers.
