On top of the classes that are offered, the Newark Arts Alliance offers Camp Imagine for children. For two weeks in August, children can participate in both visual and performing arts programs. Take to the Trails at White Clay Creek State Park

White Clay Creek State Park offers a variety of activities for the whole family to enjoy while getting some much-needed exercise and fresh air. From the multi-use trails to the volleyball court and the playground, it's all well-maintained for your year round use. The park also has areas where you can fish, hunt, and if you reserve in advance, throw a party.
Additionally, there are also a variety of nature and cultural classes available at White Clay Creek, as well as a summer camp for children to enjoy. If you homeschool, there are programs available to supplement your curriculum including a marker for the Mason-Dixon Line that is on one of the trails in the park.
Don't skip over the Judge Morris Estate, the historic home of an 18th-century Delaware native who was a respected attorney and distinguished federal judge. The home can be used for a variety of special events and can be toured, as well.
