Join in the Fun at The Turkey Day Run and Gobble Wobble 5K

As the holidays roll around, many people try to do two things: help out the community and stay in shape. If you are looking for the opportunity to do both at once, check out The Turkey Day Run and Gobble Wobble 5K. This decades-long Charleston tradition sees thousands of participants sign up year in and year out in an effort to help raise money for local charities. This mostly flat, scenic course is certified by U.S. Track and Field and provides a good challenge for athletes and amateurs alike.
If you don’t feel like running this year, there is still plenty of fun to be had here. From the live music to the food (not to mention the free beer), there’s more than enough going on to keep things interesting on and off the course. If you are particularly in the giving spirit, you can even volunteer to help the event.
